Mother’s Opinion Matters
This is my entry to the Week 24 of Techie She Weekly Giveaways. This week’s lucky blogger will win $10 Paypal credits from Borris of Humble Opinion.
Mother knows best. In most aspects, I would like to say I agree, especially during our growing up years when everything is a haze. But as we age and gain more knowledge and experience, things start to change….even people change and it is inevitable. With such changes, sometimes what our mothers know or think is best for us is actually not. I am not saying they are wrong but there are things that they don’t know about us anymore and that we tend to hide such things from them especially the not-so-good-to-hear ones. So instead of asking what is best, I tend to get my mom’s opinion on things and from there I get to weigh what I think, in my opinion, is best.

Agree! I think its more appropriate to say “Mother wants best!”

you know what, i always tell dindin that mama knows best so she has to obey me. LOL i guess it’s a bit controlling at this time, but well, i well just learn to let her go little by little as the time passes by.

Haha! Same here sis, I always tell that to my boys including their father though I know it will change the moment they start going out without me, huhu!

I agree, our mother is not just a parent to us but also our mentor and adviser.

moms are not born to know everything but their innate love and care for us guide them and give them some sort of hindsight of what’s good for us. this doesn’t apply to every mother though because we know for a fact that some mothers don’t act like “mothers.”
anyway gayle, thanks for joining the Techie She Weekly giveaways. good luck and regards!

I really like what you wrote here sis..
I definitely agree that mothers knows what’s best, but not all the time. They’re human too anyway. But, like you, I make sure to get my mom’s say too whenever I’m having some decision-making problems..

Well, hmmm Mama knows best what’s good for her kids…you know what they say “papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako,”
but I agree with what’s said above, not all moms are moms, unfortunately..still, putting your mom’s thoughts to consideration is a good thing to do.
