Birthday at School
Most kids love celebrating their birthdays at school. Well, for me, that’s what I gathered from my sons’ classmates. Even my sister who is in grade 5 requested if she can have her party in school! I guess it’s a sign that they are indeed enjoying their age.
I remember my eldest son who is in kindergarten specifically told me that he wanted his birthday celebrated at school, that his classmates will sing him a birthday song, that he will blow his cake with Winnie the Pooh design, and that all of them have their own balloons. However, due to Typhoon signal, classes were suspended on the very day of his birthday so I had to do something. For a doting mom like me, I’d do anything to make my son happy so I followed every detail of his requests with additional surprises.
As for my youngest who is in nursery, the weather was cooperative so he got his wish to have his party in school. Simple party but very much enjoyed by the celebrant.
After class hours, we started the party by distributing balloons and party hats to all his classmates.
Since their class ended at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, we immediately served their meal. Just the usual spaghetti, hotdogs, and fried chicken plus cream puff and cake.
When they were done with their meal, they had a little presentation. Surprisingly, they already have a prepared one. There were some who danced, there were some who sang. Thanks to the teachers for organizing such mini program!

Can’t wait for when my son has a birthday in school! Looks like fun. <3

I never experienced celebrating my bday in school. But these days, I think it’s also practical and convenient instead of inviting your child’s classmates, teachers and parents come to your house.
